Dessert Charcuterie Board

This week, I was inspired to create a charcuterie board with a very non-traditional take. Generally, charcuterie boards are an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, slices of bread, or crackers in their traditional form.

Instead of a savory taste, I opted for a sugar rush vibe filled with pastries, desserts, and fresh fruits. If you love sweets like I do but have difficulty choosing how to satisfy your sweet tooth, you can graze on a little bit of everything from the menu to please your taste buds with this new creative plot twist.

Supplies:

  • Wooden cheese board

  • Small bowl for the chocolate dip

  • Metal pail lined with parchment or wax paper

Dessert, Pastries, & Fruits:

  • Brownies

  • Bear claws

  • Mini cupcakes in assorted flavors

  • Shortbread cookies

  • Chocolate chip cookies

  • Lemon pound cake

  • Cinnamon rolls

  • Pecan braids

  • Chocolate croissants

  • Doughnuts

  • Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers (follow package instructions)

  • Grapes

  • Strawberries

  • Raspberries

  • Blueberries

  • Mimosas

Assembling Your Dessert Charcuterie Board

If an all dessert-themed board isn't your cup of tea, try one of these fun themes instead:

  • S'mores

  • Breakfast/Brunch

  • Baked Potato

I want to emphasize that you don't need a party or special occasion to appreciate a charcuterie board. Build one with your partner for date night, take it on an outdoor picnic, or just relax in your backyard on a warm summer's night. The possibilities are simply endless!
