Magnolia Charm began as a premier personal chef and catering company in 2011.  As our love for baking grew, our business model evolved solely into a family-owned cake and dessert boutique.  Our cakes and desserts are made to order with only the best ingredients and are personalized for any special event or occasion.

At Magnolia Charm, our mission is to create memorable sweets that exceed customer expectations through innovative, high-quality ingredients, event personalization, impeccable service, and flawless presentation. 

 

Our Sweet Story



When dining out, the McGhees encountered challenges in finding a place where quality authentic Southern comfort foods were a regular part of the menu. They began preparing a mix of eclectic Southern meals and desserts to appease their own appetites and eventually began serving these meals to family, friends, and acquaintances.  

 

After receiving overwhelming praise and positive feedback, the McGhees realized that there were others in their immediate community searching for the same type of meals and desserts.

 

Through encouragement, prayers, hard work, and dedication Magnolia Charm was born.  

 

The company name is creatively coined from Monika's home state (Mississippi - the Magnolia State) and Gregg's beloved Baltimore (Charm City).
